BE HER VOICE: an Online Advocacy Campaign for


Afghan Girls' Education

 On the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, 2024, the Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace (YCDP) has unveiled its their first campaign, “Promoting SDG4: Showing Solidarity with Afghan Girls.” Titled “BE HER VOICE,” the initiative aims to raise awareness and advocate for the education of girls in Afghanistan. Amidst ongoing challenges faced by Afghan girls, YCDP underscores the urgent need for global solidarity and support. Education, recognized not just as a fundamental right but also as a potent tool for empowerment, lies at the heart of this initiative. The “Be Her Voice” campaign is a powerful call to action aimed at raising awareness and advocating for the education of Afghan girls. By encouraging individuals to lend their voices to the cause, the campaign emphasizes the importance of collective action in effecting positive change.

Youth dialogue: The Role of Young Afghan Diaspora in Shaping the Future of Afghanistan

The Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace organized its inaugural event, “The Role of  Young Afghan Diaspora in Shaping the Future of Afghanistan,” on August 30, 2023, at the International Conference Center in Geneva. The event brought together a diverse group of passionate young individuals, human rights experts, activists, journalists, academics, researchers, and  professionals from the Afghan diaspora. All attendees shared a commitment to driving transformative change in their homeland.

By providing a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and networking, the YCDP will empower Afghan youth to become effective agents of change, contributing to a prosperous and peaceful Afghanistan.
