On the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, 2024, the Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace (YCDP) has unveiled its their first campaign, “Promoting SDG4: Showing Solidarity with Afghan Girls.” Titled “BE HER VOICE,” the initiative aims to raise awareness and advocate for the education of girls in Afghanistan. Amidst ongoing challenges faced by Afghan girls, YCDP underscores the urgent need for global solidarity and support. Education, recognized not just as a fundamental right but also as a potent tool for empowerment, lies at the heart of this initiative. The “Be Her Voice” campaign is a powerful call to action aimed at raising awareness and advocating for the education of Afghan girls. By encouraging individuals to lend their voices to the cause, the campaign emphasizes the importance of collective action in effecting positive change.
