YCDP Hosts Indian Delegation from Ashoka Group of Schools in Geneva, Sparking Dialogue on Youth Diplomacy

On May 29, 2024, the Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace (YCDP) had the privilege of hosting a meeting with a delegation from the Ashoka Group of Schools in India, led by Col (Hon). Dr. Dinesh Sabnis, at Geneva. Mr. Gilles-Emmanuel Jacquet, President of YCDP, introduced the organization, its mission, and activities, sparking a lively and insightful exchange between the students and YCDP. The discussion covered topics of international relations and diplomacy, with a particular focus on India's role in promoting dialogue for the youth, especially in Afghanistan. This meeting signals the beginning of a promising future partnership, and we eagerly anticipate collaborating on projects that empower youth globally.

Informative Session on YCDP's Mission and Vision

On May 17, 2024,Mr. Yama Sukhanyar, Founder of the Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace, led an insightful information session about YCDP. The session began with a brief introduction to YCDP's mission and vision, emphasizing our commitment to fostering dialogue and peace among youth globally. 

The presentation included highlights from our past events, such as our participation at the Global Goals Summit 2024 and the ECOSOC Youth Forum. We also discussed our ongoing campaigns, focusing on advocating for the education of Afghan girls and empowering youth worldwide.

YCDP Founder Attends SDGs Youth Event at UN Headquarters, New York

Mr. Yama Sukhanyar, Founder of the Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace, had the opportunity to attend the "Our Future: Youth Perspectives on Achieving the SDGs" event. This event was hosted by Qatar Debate on the sidelines of the ECOSOC Youth Forum at the UN Headquarters in New York on April 16th 2024.
The discussions underscored the urgency of collective action and the importance of amplifying youth voices in global decision-making processes, especially in the context of transitioning to renewables for a more sustainable future.


Mr. Yama Sukhanyar, Founder of YCDP, Honored as Global Goals Actions Ambassador 2024 at Malaysian Summit

Mr. Yama Sukhanyar, Founder of Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace was awarded the title of Global Goals Actions Ambassador 2024 at the Global Goals Summit 2024, which took place in Malaysia from January 25th to 27th, 2024. During the Global Goals Summit 2024, 120 youths from 16 different countries came together to discuss and propose solutions related to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Empowering Youth Through Innovation: YCDP's Meeting with Director of ITU's Telecommunication Development Bureau

On 9th December 2023, the Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace met with Excellency Cosmas Luckyson ZAVAZAVA, PhD., Director of Telecommunication Development Bureau, International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
In this Meeting, they explored innovative ways to leverage technology for youth empowerment, digital inclusion, and education.

On 29 November 2023,the Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)  with the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations. This MOU will establish a framework for collaboration between the two organisations to promote dialogue and peace among young people. By signing an MOU together, they are igniting a shared passion for dialogue, peace, and youth empowerment.
