About the Youth Human Rights Hub

The Youth Human Rights Hub (YHRH) is an initiative of the Youth Centre for Dialogue and Peace (YCDP), designed to create an inclusive digital space where young people can learn about, discuss, and take action on human rights issues.
The Hub serves as a platform for education, collaboration, and advocacy — connecting youth leaders, activists, and organizations working to promote justice, equality, and peace in their communities and beyond.

Purpose & Rationale

Today, young people around the world face complex human rights challenges — from discrimination and inequality to displacement, digital censorship, and lack of representation. Many lack access to credible information, training or safe spaces for dialogue.

YHRH addresses this gap by empowering youth with knowledge, practical tools, and a supportive community, with a special focus on those from conflict-affected regions such as Afghanistan and its diaspora.
Justice & Equality
Youth face discrimination and inequality in daily life, limiting their rights and opportunities.
Displacement & Exclusion
Many young people are displaced or marginalised, especially in conflict-affected regions.
Lack of Information
Credible human rights resources are often hard to find, especially in restrictive environments.
Need for Safe Spaces
Youth need safe, inclusive spaces to discuss, learn and organise around human rights issues.
